Kathy & I were talking to friends recently who asked me about our travels to Italy, when I remembered that I had never published a gallery of Italy photos on my website. It’s only taken a year, but I finally got around to it. It’s a lot of photos – admittedly way more than I would ordinarily put in one gallery. But it was a huge trip with lots of photos! I ended up with about 3,000 processed photos, so a gallery with “only” 180 or so images is really editing it down!
POPTP – Pictures of People Taking Pictures. Sort of like shooting fish in a barrel these days, as everyone takes pictures of everything and everywhere. But everywhere I go I look for opportunities to catch interesting people photographing an interesting scene. And also taking the time to actually appreciate the scene!
New gallery on my website with some photos from our visits to the Caribbean. Wish we were there now! 🙂
I also added a gallery to our visit to Key West, also in 2015.
I took advantage of the snowy weather here to work on a long-overdue project of adding photo galleries to my website. I just added a gallery of photos from our visit to Colorado in 2015. I did say LONG overdue…. 😉
I just added a “Recent Work” gallery to my website to showcase some of my favorite shots from this year to date. I occasionally use that when I have new work to show but haven’t had a chance to refresh the individual galleries.
This image is another from June at a “Secret Location” along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
I just posted a gallery of images from our recent cruise aboard Celebrity Solstice. Click on this link for the gallery, and enjoy. It’s not a comprehensive travelogue, and will disappoint anyone looking for complete coverage of the ship or the islands, but I was On Vacation and trying to act like it! I do think I came back with a number of nice shots.
I just finished adding a “Train Stations” gallery and updated my “North Carolina Towns” gallery on my website. Check it out!
My new website went live last week! It was long overdue, as my old site had gotten a bit dated and the photos were almost two years old. I really like the new design, and I am able to update it myself with no programming knowledge. Which is good, because I don’t have any and don’t have the time or inclination to learn.
The new site is easy to use, I can tweak it any time, add new photos, captions and change the colors whenever I want. Check it out:
