When in Eagle Harbor, MI we visited this former Coast Guard Lifesaving Station that is now a museum of maritime history. Interesting place with some nicely restored boats and restored building.

I am impressed how you two can find these museums and then really show them in images and words. Envious in a way. I had to go look up Eagle Harbor. It would be one of the places I’d wanna visit.
Yes, that is definitely a “Monte kind of place.” Quiet, peaceful, close to nature. Although you might have some trouble finding that morning latte.
