Ordinary Household Objects: Day 17

Ordinary Household Objects: Potato Masher

I read an article this morning talking about how people have been turning to junk food for “comfort.”  I guess some people will use any excuse to get into bad habits.  So I go to the grocery store with my mask, my gloves and my hand sanitizer – and maybe a haz-mat suit – to buy Beefaroni and Cheetos?  We avoid putting one kind of poison into our bodies just to buy a different kind of poison?  Doesn’t make sense to me!  But I promised not to judge, so I won’t.  Unless you’re an idiot, then I’ll judge. 😉

  1. I totally agree. Peanut butter and chocolate but none of this junk stuff for me. Actually, I do have peanut butter but it is not my sole diet. I’m actually making more trips to the store than some because I want to buy the fresh fruit and vegetables. Cheetos can be a weakness for me, so I stay away from them.

    1. Peanut butter and chocolate are staples, not junk food, Monte! We also find ourselves going to the store for fresh veggies and seafood. We could get by for a couple of weeks or more with what is in the pantry and the freezer, but since I don’t think we’re close to being out of the woods we’re still trying to hold on to the longer term stuff. Still plenty of T.P., though! 😉

I never cared for Cheetos, but do love the occasional Fritos. With cottage cheese? Yum! 🙂
