Postcard From Corbin, Kentucky
I can’t tell you the last time I ate at a KFC. I didn’t eat at this one either, but it was a good stop for a few photos.
Postcard from Virginia Beach, Virginia
Kathy & I are wrapping up our latest adventure and heading back to base tomorrow. Lots of photos and more than a few interesting experiences that should give me grist for the mill for a few weeks.
Postcard from Cape May, New Jersey
We have been to the airport in Newark before but decided that doesn’t count as a “visit.” We’re spending a few days here before heading south to Virginia Beach and then home.
Postcard from Rehoboth Beach Delaware
Delaware – check!
No Saltwater Taffy for us today – we opted for fresh cut French Fries instead. They were authentic and delicious! 😉
Postcard from Crisfield Maryland
Kathy & I checked Maryland off our list today. Actually we had been to Maryland before but decided it didn’t qualify because we didn’t have photographic evidence. We have plenty now!
Postcard from Carolina Beach
Kathy & I are finishing up our time in Carolina Beach, North Carolina before heading up the coast with visits to VA, MD, DE and NJ. This is just a sample of the photos I have found from our visit. More to come!
Postcard from the Natchez Trace Parkway
I lucked into this scene yesterday morning as we were entering the Parkway. We never saw him again so I didn’t have a chance to see more of the car.
Postcard from Natchez, Mississippi
Kathy & I spent a couple of nights in Natchez, Mississippi before starting off on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Natchez sits on a 200 foot bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. We spent a lot of time walking and watching the barge traffic on the river. The river is high and a few roads are closed, but we didn’t see anything serious.
Postcard from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana
On to Natchez, Mississippi today. Here is a sunset photo from last evening after our swamp tour.
