I enjoy early mornings aboard a cruise, well before most of the people stumble out of bed and start looking for the first feeding opportunity. I only got up early one morning while we were aboard Norwegian Prima, and it happened to be the morning of our arrival in Roatan, Honduras. While I was able to watch as we approached the port, for the most part my favorite photos are the ones of different ship details, especially those lit up by all the LED lighting.

I guess the only time to get shots of the ship is when folks are asleep and not around. I admire your discipline, Tom. These photos were worth the effort.
It’s not the only time to get ship photos, of course. But the ship is usually more photogenic than many (most?) of the passengers!
Cool shots. Very futuristic looking.
The newer ships have a lot of that lighting, which is definitely futuristic.
Another wonderful series of photos, Tom. Futuristic is a good word for the design of these ships. However, I really like that last image of the ship coming into harbor. It totally rocks for me!
The sun had just broken the horizon at that point and really lit up the ship. It was nice light, for sure!
