This may be the only place I would like to visit in Texas; well, that and Austin and perhaps Big Bend NP and we may as well drop down to San Antonio… I really would like to spend some time in Marfa though. Reply
If you have any interest in wine, Fredericksburg is the heart of Texas wine country. Yes, Texas makes wine! And it is pretty darned good based on the results of a very small sample. There are also a couple of good distilleries making Texas whisky. Reply
