I’ve been amused by people’s interpretation of “stay at home.” Conversations about going out seem to be punctuated by a lot of “excepts.” I’m only going to the grocery store “except” Lowe’s for tomato plants, Target for something, Walmart for something else, some restaurant for carry out. Every day! If “hunkered down” means behind the steering wheel, people are all over it! 🙂
Yes, in fact I think I’m seeing more cars back on the road. The governor here has extended the stay-at-home order until the 26th. When I look at the short list of places you have I realize the only one on there I go to is the grocery store. My list includes Mugs Coffee, Bean Cycle, Cups, Cuppys and Starbucks once in a while. This stay at home order has saved me some money.
We’ve definitely curtailed a lot of places we would normally visit. Unfortunately, like you, many of them are long-time favorites and we miss them. We’re not saving a lot of money since we’re buying more groceries, but overall we’ve been eating better and losing some of the weight we gained during all of our travel!
