A Few Days in The Everglades

Tram tour from the Shark Valley Visitor Center in Everglades National Park

Kathy & I are wrapping up a short week in south Florida, where we spent three days in various parts of Everglades National Park.  I’ve got a ton of photos to process when I get home and we’ll be on a cruise ship next week.  So my postings may be a little thin over the next week or so. Here are a few photos in the interim.

    1. We just got home about an hour ago. We had a blast and I ended up with another batch of “film” to process. Maybe a few good photos – and certainly some good photos – to share!

  1. The last time I visited the Everglades was 1987. Man, feels like another lifetime. Good to see it looks much the same 🙂
    Nice series Tom.

    1. This was our first visit, but I understand that a lot of progress has been made toward undoing all of the damage done from diverting the water for other purposes. What we did see what spectacular in its own way. Very beautiful and serene among the pandemonium that can be south Florida.

    1. Hey Carlin. Thanks for the comment and for following my blog. I recently realized that I had “lost” you on Instagram and wasn’t able to find you again. Shoot me a note there if you are still around there or via email if you are not.
