Kathy & I paid a visit today to the so-called “Road to Nowhere” in Great Smoky Mountains National Park near Bryson City, NC. I wrote about this place in a previous post from last October (just a year ago? Wow!). We caught just a little bit of the end of fall color, before the bottom falls out of the thermometer in a few days. We’ll be back home to our toasty house and our gas fireplace by then! 😉

Wow, that’s quite a difference from your previous post. We are at 12 degrees this morning but suppose to reach a scorching 35 degrees. It’ll be shorts and frisbees this afternoon.
We just got home and the forecast for here is a low of 24 Tuesday night. It’s supposed be in the low teens in the mountains, so we’ll be happy with the 20s. But only a little happy! We leave for Puerto Rico in a couple of weeks and I think it will be warmer there. 🙂
My goodness, man! 🙂
You know us!
And now you’re back in NC! For how long? 😀 I’m headed to Spain, in a few days, then back for a little bit, then off to NYC, then back, then to Boston, then STOP!
We head to Puerto Rico on Thanksgiving Day for two weeks. Maybe hopefully catch up with you between then and mid-January?
