I don’t think I’ve ever been in a situation where I have pulled off the road to take a picture, taken a handful of pictures, gotten back in the car and driven off without being passed by another car, in either direction!
As an added bonus, below is something else I’ve never come across before!
This doesn’t exactly qualify as a photo of Fort Collins but it was taken during an excursion into the countryside with my good friend Monte Stevens. We had fun exploring the grasslands north of the city.
Caught this scene while driving to St. Joseph MO last evening. There is a hawk perched at the top of the barn, which I didn’t see until I looked at the photos on my computer. He flew off about halfway through his portrait session.
I can’t tell you the last time I ate at a KFC. I didn’t eat at this one either, but it was a good stop for a few photos.
Kathy & I are wrapping up our latest adventure and heading back to base tomorrow. Lots of photos and more than a few interesting experiences that should give me grist for the mill for a few weeks.
We have been to the airport in Newark before but decided that doesn’t count as a “visit.” We’re spending a few days here before heading south to Virginia Beach and then home.
