Today’s photo reminds me that we would all be a lot better off if we spent more time listening instead of talking. Listening to good music through good headphones allows us to mind our own business and to not bother others.
We were scheduled to get haircuts today. Fortunately things haven’t gotten too shaggy yet. Another month, though, and we may need to take action.
My son took to clippers (using a beard trimmer of all things 🙂 ) and I may have to do the same soon I think. Unless Microsoft comes up with a Skype filter that “fixes” hair so that I can look presentable during business meetings LOL.
I too like to listen to music, and yes, it is a nice way to just mind your own business. My headphones however, are not quite as good as your Audio Technica 🙂
I have a beard trimmer also, but so far have not felt the need to use it on my hair. I go to Kathy’s stylist (because it’s convenient, although overkill for me) and she can fix a lot, but I admire her handiwork and would like to not mess it up unless it becomes necessary.
The headphones are nice ones, not as high end as you might think, but quite an improvement from my computer speakers and even my Sonos speakers. They are just the thing for listening to the music or podcasts that we don’t mutually agree on when we’re both sharing the office on our computers. 😉
I also use the beard trimmer. Does wonders!
I use to have headphones with a 20 foot cord so I could jam away while cooking or just wander around the condo. I seldom listen to music anymore. Just lost interest in it.
Music is nearly as important to me as photography, and I listen a lot and to a variety of music. Right now I’m exploring a list of top jazz albums from the 70s. So Kathy is liking the headphones very much these days. 😉
