Raw coffee beans awaiting a turn in the roaster. Panacea Coffee House, Waynesville NC

Well, how was the coffee? Don’t leave us hanging.
This is my absolute favorite place to buy coffee, and one of the two main reasons we visit Waynesville. We actually got to talk to the coffee roaster this time while he was roasting coffee, and we learned a little about the process. I think I should make another post with the details! Maybe I will! 😉
Maybe you can work out some arrangement and be a part of his tasting. The tasting was one of the kool parts when I worked as a barista.
Great idea! If I lived over that way I would definitely inquire. I also recently discovered a coffee house near our neighborhood. I bought some of their beans and tried them for the first time just before we left for this trip. My initial impression is that they are also pretty good but not as good as Panacea’s. But it will be nice to have a source a little closer to home so I’ll go back there too!
