One of my former bosses had a bunch of “Bob-isms” that we heard holiday after holiday. I think a few of them may have ultimately gotten him fired. But this was one of the tamer and sillier ones, and I felt like using it as the title of this silly post. Accompanied by a couple of my “nature’s fireworks” photos.

Hope your 4th of July was a good one, Tom! Ours was very nice – fireworks, mountain passes and warm weather – what’s not to like!
Our weather actually cooled off a bit, which was a wonderful break. I was glad to be able to enjoy the weekend at home, and now out elbowing the crowds in the tourist destinations.
We met up with some family members we seldom see on the 4th. Good food and conversation. A great day.
