We’re currently in Billings, MT and enjoying our first “non-get-up-and-go” morning since we left home. It’s been 5 days of beautiful but somewhat grueling driving, done on purpose because our ultimate destination is still a few days away! We’ve seen some amazing scenery and I’ve taken (more than) a few photos, but haven’t wanted to spend my down time on the computer. So here’s a tidbit to keep the flow going. I’ll probably work on a few more soon but it’s time for breakfast! 😉

Now why would they park such a lovely vette in a museum when they could let me have to drive?
I have several issues with car museums, and one is that they make museum pieces out of cars that deserve to be driven and enjoyed. But I got the impression that a number of the cars here were donated by people who owned them and had either passed away or decided that allowing others to enjoy looking at them would be preferable to selling them just for the money. There is a lot of history here, much more than I can recount in a postcard. The story will wait until after I get home! 😉
I didn’t see anyone offering to let me take one out for a spin, so I think we’d have had a hard time getting one to bring out your way. Plus, our luggage wouldn’t fit! 😉
