One thought on “Balance Rock, at Grant Park in Bar Harbor, Maine”
I am very interested in getting copies of this photo! My great great grandfather was Harry Allen Grant, for whom Grant Park is named.
Any help in obtaining this photo would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
PS: The outline of their tennis court can still be seen if you look closely on the lawn of the park.
At low tide, my grandmother and great aunt played around Balance Rock as children, pretending to buy and sell rocks, shells and seaweed from each other!
