Haven’t visited Ding Darling since 2010. Looks like you are doing okay with that effectively 300mm lens. You must have discovered an egret rookery as it is the nesting season!
Hi Don! You’re right that it was possibly a rookery. It was well protected but really noisy once you got close! I sometimes wish for a longer lens but would use it so seldom it wouldn’t be worth the investment.
I’m still hoping to catch up with you somewhere. I told Kathy that Don Brown is my New Year’s resolution!
