Postcard From The George Eastman Museum and House

Central staircase at the George Eastman House in Rochester, New York

Kathy & I drove to Rochester today to visit the Eastman House and – more importantly – meet up with some of our photo friends (more on that later).  This photo is not necessarily representative of the experience but is one of my favorites for the day.

We’ve got one more day in the Finger Lakes before we head south on Saturday.  We should be sleeping in our own bed on Sunday and are looking forward to it!

    1. I was very much safe on the floor side of the railing! The articulating screen makes composition simple and the camera strap helps steady the shot. So no worries!

We made the drive yesterday (Saturday) and are enjoying a return to housework (NOT! 🙂 ). All’s well and more photos are coming!

  1. I very much like the abstract feel to this. At a first quick glance, you wouldn’t immediately recognize what it is, which makes it all the more interesting.

  2. Nice image and unique perspective. I always liked visiting the house and museum as it was only a 15 minute drive from our former home. Lots to engage a photographer!
