Fun With Snapseed

I’ve never been much about taking photos with my phone, other than the random snaps at times when I didn’t have a “real” camera with me. But I’ve been playing around with Snapseed, and this is a photo I took with my phone and processed on my tablet. It may not be my new style, but it’s a lot of fun!

  1. I like this quite a lot, Tom. I wish I had a better phone/camera. No amount of Snapseed is going to make the photos any better. Next year, when my contract is up, I’ll be seriously thinking about the new Nokia phone.

    1. Thanks, Ken. I used to take photos with my junky Blackberry, but the camera on my current phone seems to do a pretty nice job. Not quite up to a camera, so I think a little bit of processing is appropriate,

    1. Cedric, what I’ve found is that because I don’t take camera phone pictures as “seriously” as I do ones from a camera, I have a sort of “permission” to play with them a bit. I have no interest in the Instagram thing or anything like that, but a program like Snapseed gives me a few choices and a chance to mess around with a photo and have some fun with it. And sometimes the results are pretty nice, too!

  2. I love Snapseed. I use it to crop, saturate, etc, my iPhone photos before uploading them to Facebook. I tried Instagram, a couple of times, but it just doesn’t hold my interest.

    1. I’ve found that I like to process the photos on my tablet, since the bigger screen makes it easier to see the results. I’m getting the hang of it!
